This is a kind, anonymous space for people at every point on their hijab journey, from day one to fifteen years in. A few simple rules keep it that way.
Everyone here is figuring something out. Answer the way you would want to be answered on your worst hijab day: warmly, patiently and without a lecture.
We do not police how someone wears their hijab or where they are on their journey. Making someone feel unwelcome or "not enough" is the one thing that has no place here.
You can post anonymously, and so can everyone else. Do not try to identify other members, and do not share anyone's personal information, photos or private messages without their consent.
Questions, tips and experiences about hijab, fabrics, styling, care and the life around it are all welcome. Keep replies useful and on the question that was asked.
Genuine recommendations from experience are great. Repeated advertising, affiliate spam or pretending to be a happy customer is not, and will be removed.
Be careful with advice that could cause harm. For anything medical, serious or distressing, encourage the person to speak to a qualified professional or someone they trust.
Posts are checked and clearly harmful or spammy content is removed. Borderline cases are held for a human to review. We would always rather guide than punish, but we will step in to keep this a safe, welcoming place.
By posting here, you agree to keep this a kind space for everyone. Thank you for being part of it.
